Cello and Voice duo in Suffolk
Formed in 2025, Lark & Bow duo provide a fresh, stylish combination of cello and voice, performing unique arrangements of songs to add an elegant and laid-back vibe to your wedding.
Bringing together years of performing experience, they are equally at home playing modern pop classics such as Ed Sheeran, Beyoncé and Taylor Swift, as they are classical arias and atmospheric folk songs. The duo pride themselves on presenting balanced programs that help events flow, catering to the mood you wish to create. With minimal setup and space requirements, they can add to the atmosphere of weddings of any size.
Teresa Wells (soprano) studied vocal performance at Trinity College London, graduating with distinction, and has gone on to perform across the UK with opera companies, professional choirs in venues including the Royal Albert Hall and Royal Festival Hall, and as a recitalist and soloist in venues such as St Bride’s Fleet Street. She enjoys bringing her passion for music to audiences big and small, bringing her classically-trained vocals to the pop and musical theatre repertoire.
Mary Pells (cello) studied at the Royal Academy of Music, gaining diplomas in both piano and cello and going on to gain an MA in early music. Examples of her work as a performer include playing in Hollywood film sessions, string quartet recitals, period instrument orchestras, and appearing at venues such as Snape Maltings. Her recording of J.S. Bach’s sonatas for viola da gamba and harpsichord gained wide critical acclaim. She has recently performed in professional musical theatre productions as well as performing Joni Mitchell’s Blue album in concert.
